JOHANNESBURG – Wednesday, 27 July 2016. Women’s Month kicks off at Mortimer Harvey with two of the top women in the industry and the agency setting off for New York City as 2016 International ECHO® Awards final round judges.
“We’re delighted with this year’s judges as they represent the best of data and marketing expertise and the dynamic disruptions of modern marketing,” says Tom Benton, DMA’s CEO.
Winnifred Knight, Business Director Direct, CRM and Loyalty, and Luisa Mazinter, Group Chief Innovation Officer, were invited to be part of the 90-strong judging panel made up of leading local and international personalities in the data and marketing industry. Winnifred and Luisa will be joined by top judges from BBDO, Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal, Epsilon, Havas Media, LinkedIn, Harte Hanks and OgilvyOne to judge the world’s most strategically bold and creatively brave marketing campaigns.
“I’ve been judging the Echo’s since the early 1990’s. This is again a great honour to be invited to be part of this prestigious circle of old and new judges. It’s an exhilarating experience to see and learn from the best of the best in our specialised field. It’s also refreshing to see the spirited young direct marketers producing such unbelievable campaigns that fulfil the requirements of Relevancy, Responsibility and Results. I’m proud to be part of this event. And who can say no to visiting New York,” says Winnifred.
